Hi Fred,
Congrats on your RV10 project!
I've built a number of RV's and the wiring is actually my favorite
part of the project. That said, on my RV10 I wanted a 'fancy'
fiberglass panel with the center and armrest console rather than
the 'standard' flat metal panel. That's when I found Accuracy
Avionics. I called Tony and he gave me the lowdown on his fiberglass
panels and got set to place my order. While doing so we discussed
my panel plans and overall mission of the airplane....as it turned
out....when considering my time and money Tony was actually able
to save me a substantial amount of money....and do one stop shopping
for all my panel needs.
Coincidentally, the panel/center
console/armrest console for my RV10 just arrived and I unpacked
it this evening. It's a work of art....Accuracy Avionics did a
wonderful job.
To sum up my experience with Accuracy
Avionics:
1- They are ALWAYS there when you need them
2-
They ALWAYS answer the phone, I have never called when
someone didn't answer and if the person I wanted to talk to wasn't
there someone else helped or they called me right back. You will
NOT get the runaround with them.
3-
1st class shop with a ton of knowledge. I've wired a
few panels but since there is always a year or two in-between
projects I sometimes 'forget'. These guys do it everyday and have
the answers to your questions.
4- They deliver.....your parts will be there
when they say they will. There was a very slight delay with the
silksreening for my panel....they picked up the rush job fee to
have the silkscreeners get my panel done in order to minimize
the delay!
5- Customer service starts when you make your
purchase and doesn't end till your panel is up and running.....I'll
bet that it will go well beyond that too!
6- They even sent me pics of the panel in progress....before,
during, and even all lit up during the testing.
If you have ANY questions that I can help you with feel
free to email back or you can always call me at 740-678-8031.
By the way....I'm the kind of guy
who tells it like it is.....I have NO NEGATIVES to speak of regarding
Accuracy Avionics.....if I did I'd tell you.
Good Luck with whatever you decide.
Rick Gray
